Moving on from Butler Hastings placed his name in the NCAA's transfer portal Wednesday and is expected to leave Butler, 247Sports.com reports. Impact Hastings had already opted out of the 2020-21 season in late January, so his decision to enter the transfer portal a few weeks later doesn't come as a major surprise. Before opting out, the sophomore forward appeared in eight games, averaging 9.5 minutes per game. Hastings will presumably look to move on to a school that can present him with more playing time, but he may require a waiver from the NCAA in order to compete immediately at his next program.
