Impact Abmas led all Golden Eagles with 22.8 points and 3.7 assists per game last season. The 22.8 points per game ranked No. 5 in Division 1 men's basketball. Abmas will return for his senior season at Oral Roberts. The 6-foot-0 guard has started in every appearance he has made over three seasons with the program.

Falls from NCAA Tournament contention Abmas closed Monday's 92-72 loss to North Dakota State with 28 points (11-23 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and one assist in 35 minutes.
Impact It was the same kind of high-scoring performance that followers of Abmas have grown accustom to, but the Golden Eagles simply couldn't keep up with a North Dakota State squad that has now won nine of its last 10 games. Abmas may not have much left to prove at the collegiate level after averaging 24.5 ppg a season ago and following that up with a stellar 22.8 ppg this season, though he's not currently getting a ton of love in NBA mock drafts. If Oral Roberts isn't selected for the NIT and this is truly the end for this season, Abmas' future will be a big topic of conversation in Tulsa. Should he return, he'll again be arguably the top overall fantasy asset in formats that include all of D1.
