Thursday's game canceledThe Bearcats' upcoming game against SMU that was scheduled for March 4 was canceled Sunday, Sam Blum of The Dallas Morning News reports.

ImpactThis will be the seventh straight game SMU has had to either postpone or cancel because of COVID-19 issues within their program. With the game officially off the schedule, the Bearcats' will next play against East Carolina on March 7 in their regular-season finale.

Not starting SundayDavenport isn't in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Memphis.

ImpactDavenport has started in each of the last nine games but will come off the bench Sunday as head coach John Brannen has opted to put out an all-senior lineup for the Bearcats' Senior Day. It's likely he'll enter the game pretty early on and should receive a fair share of playing time after logging 33 minutes in back-to-back outings.
