Impact Booker did not play in the previous game against Incarnate Word which was his fourth DNP of the season. Thursday not only will he play but the talented freshman will get the start over Malik Hall and next to Mady Sissoko in the frontcourt.

Jaxon Kohler - Out Thursday versus Penn State Kohler (foot) is out for Thursday's game versus Penn State, Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Impact Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo said on the pregame radio show that Kohler would remain out Thursday and that he hopes to get him back on the court next week. Kohler could be out for longer than that though, as Izzo added that it will take an additional unknown amount of time to reintegrate him into the team. Given this information it seems unlikely Kohler will suit up Sunday at Northwestern, and there's a chance he could be back for next Thursday's contest at Illinois.

Jaxon Kohler - Questionable Thursday Kohler (foot) has been termed questionable ahead of Thursday's game against Penn State, Kyle Austin of MLive.com reports.
Impact Kohler, who was previously poised for a return to a near-full practice workload Friday, appears to have a chance to return Thursday against the Nittany Lions. The 6-foot-9 sophomore, who appeared in all 34 games last season, has yet to make his season debut for the Spartans.

Malik Hall - Solid all-around effort Hall accumulated 18 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Saturday's 87-75 victory over Indiana State.
Impact It's been an up-and-down year for Hall in the scoring department, as he has three outings of 18 or more points but has also been held to five or less on five separate occasions. While Saturday was one of his better all-around showings, the caliber of opponent must also be taken into account. The fifth-year senior will continue to be a fringe fantasy asset heading into Big Ten play.

Impact Considering the magnitude of Fears' leg injury, it should be understandable as to why Michigan State's basketball team is treading with caution concerning its injured guard. Until the Spartans release an injury report without him or a press release saying otherwise, he will not be available for their games moving forward.

Impact Booker's minutes have been a bit inconsistent to begin the season, as Saturday was the fourth game of the year he's missed despite no injury ever getting reported. In his stead, Mady Sissoko saw a slight bump in minutes, with Carson Cooper serving as the primary backup. Booker's minutes likely won't improve in the immediate future, as Jaxon Kohler (foot) recently returned to practice, and he represents even more competition for frontcourt playing time.

The 6-foot-1 senior continues to be a dynamic scoring threat for the Spartans, averaging 20 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals on 31.1 minutes per game. Fantasy managers can be confident in a steady output from Walker, who has yet to score under double digits this season.
