Jeremy Fears - Sustains leg injury Fears (leg) was shot outside of his home in Illinois, sustaining a non-life-threatening injury to his leg, Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Impact Fears' injury has yet to be confirmed as school officials contact local PD for additional details. The 6-foot-2 freshman has been utilized off the bench this season, averaging 3.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.8 steals on 15.3 minutes per game. Additional reports will follow to determine his ability to return to the court as the freshman guard underwent surgery this morning, but the injury is not life threatening.
