Robby Carmody - Outlook not optimistic According to Tom Noie of the South Bend Tribune, there's "zero chance" Carmody suits up for Notre Dame this season. Impact This is quite a statement regarding a player who was at one point expected to be cleared by Oct. 1, so it appears there may have been some type of setback for the veteran guard. Carmody has a long history with knee injuries, as he suffered a torn ACL in December of 2019 before fracturing his kneecap a little more than nine months afterwards. Noie seems to think Carmody recently underwent a knee scope as well, though that may just be speculation on his part. Either way, it seems like Carmody can safely be left on the waiver wire in even the deepest of formats. In the meantime, it appears Notre Dame will play a starting backcourt of Prentiss Hubb, Cormac Ryan and Dane Goodwin, with Trey Wertz in line to be the first off the bench.
