Impact Boone supplied just his second double-double of the season. He also did so while playing his most minutes since being demoted to the bench three games ago, as he totaled three points and six rebounds while playing 24 minutes across the previous two contests. Boone was one of the Cowboys' most productive big men this season with 11.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. However, now that he's coming off the bench behind Moussa Cisse and Woody Newton. it's unclear how much run Boone will get in Wednesday's NIT matchup against Youngstown State.

Impact Oklahoma State was selected to participate in the 2023 National Invitation Tournament, with Youngstown State being the team's first-round opponent. However, OK State's head coach Mike Boynton announced Anderson is not as far along as the team had hoped in terms of his recovery.
