Drops 21 on opening night Oweh finished Monday's 103-62 win over Wright State with 21 points (8-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 27 minutes.

Impact Oweh was incredibly efficient, scoring 21 points on nine shots. He missed just one shot against Wright State, and was a perfect 3 for 3 from downtown. Oweh will be one of the most important scores night in and night out for Mark Pope's squad this season.

Impact Oweh not only drew the start for a deep Kentucky team, but he was able to lead the Wildcats in both scoring and minutes played on an incredibly efficient shooting line. It won't come as easy when the level of competition rises, but considering he averaged 11.4 ppg across 32 games (28 starts) with the Sooners last season, the junior is more than capable of having solid offensive days.
