Explodes for 27 points Johnson notched 27 points (9-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight assists, six rebounds and two steals across 37 minutes during Saturday's 83-74 win over Drexel. Impact Johnson paced the Panthers in scoring and was one of three starters that scored at least 19 points, but he did it in a very efficient way -- he needed just 13 shots to finish with his 27-point output. He might have ended with eight points in the season debut, but Johnson has been Pittsburgh's most impactful performer to date -- he has racked up 36 points, 18 assists and 11 rebounds through his first two appearances. His next game will come Wednesday at Northwestern.
