A.J. McGinnis - Set to miss a couple weeksHead coach Wes Miller said after Thursday's win over Presbyterian that Mcginnis has an ankle sprain and that it'll be a few weeks before he returns, Justin Williams of The Athletic...
ImpactMcginnis suffered the injury in Tuesday's win over Alabama A&M and is now set for somewhat of an extended absence. The 6-3 sophomore is expected to hold more of a depth role when healthy, so his absence shouldn't really affect the rotation for the Bearcats.

Viktor Lakhin - Dealing with crampsHead coach Wes Miller revealed after Thursday's win over Presbyterian that Lakhin left the game because of cramps, Justin Williams of The Athletic reports.
ImpactLakhin was forced to leave Thursday's action early with what was initially thought to be an apparent leg injury but ended up just being some cramps. The good injury news is a sigh of relief, as the 6-11 sophomore has been quite the surprise to open up the year, as he's averaging 8.7 points, four rebounds and 1.3 steals in 14.7 minutes per game while shooting 73 percent from the floor. He's been incredibly efficient and should be alright to suit up Monday in a big test against Illinois.

ImpactThe 6-foot-11 center exited the game after attempting to block a shot and injuring his leg. It is unclear if Lahkin will be able to return to the game at this moment. If the big is forced to miss time, expect Hayden Koval and Abdul Ado to be candidates for more opportunities.

David DeJulius - Leads all scorersDeJulius closed Tuesday's 89-66 win over Alabama A&M with 21 points (8-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one rebound over 21 minutes.
ImpactDeJulius needed just one half to reach double-figures, leading the Bearcats in scoring on the night. Tuesday marked the third time in Dejulius' career that the senior guard scored over twenty points in a single game. Expect the career 5.7 points-per-game scorer, playing in a larger offensive role this season, to continue lighting it up for the Bearcats.
