Jared Bynum - Inefficient in start Bynum produced nine points (2-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and 10 assists in 35 minutes during Saturday's 73-68 loss to St. John's.
Impact Bynum missed four games in January with an abdominal injury, and coach Ed Cooley has been conservative with his usage since his return. Saturday marked his first start since Jan. 4, and while the senior had a rough shooting day, he did record a season-high 10 assists. Bynum leads the Friars with 4.6 assists per contest, which currently represents the strongest mark of his four-year collegiate career.

Devin Carter - Reliability continues Carter racked up 12 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal over 38 minutes during Saturday's 73-68 loss to St. John's.
Impact Carter fell in-line with his season averages of 13.0 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. He's now scored between 10 and 15 points in six consecutive games. However, he's just 5-of-23 from beyond the arc over that span.

Bryce Hopkins - Huge game wasted Hopkins had 29 points (10-20 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), nine rebounds, one block and two steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 73-68 loss to St. John's.
Impact Hopkins torched St. John's, accounting for nearly half of Providence's points. Unfortunately, he was the only Friar cooking, as his teammates combined to shoot 4-of-20 from beyond the arc. Hopkins' scoring versatility is legit, as the 6-foot-7 sophomore is a menace in transition and has been among the nation's most efficient post-up threats.

Impact Bynum, who has come off the bench during the last four games, will return to the starting lineup on Saturday. The 5-foot-10 senior has appeared in 20 games this season (16 starts), averaging 9.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 0.7 steals on 27.1 minutes per game. Bynum and the Friars will look to stay hot after notching a win over Georgetown on Wednesday.
