Impact Carter's scoring already makes him an solid fantasy asset, but his rebounding from the shooting guard position is what makes the junior guard elite. He now has back-to-back double-doubles and 37 total rebounds over his last four games, bringing his season average to a stellar 8.2 rpg. On top of that, Carter is posting career-best shooting percentages from the field (48.0) and from distance (39.1). While the Friars fell to 2-2 in Big East play with Saturday's loss, signature wins this season against Marquette and Wisconsin should keep them in the NCAA Tournament conversation.

Impact Pierre has combined to log 74 minutes across this past two games, delivering 15 points while only attempting threes and free throws over that span. The 6-foot-2 guard could continue to be leaned on with Bryce Hopkins (knee) done for the season, but it's also possible that Providence pivots and adds more size to the lineup moving forward.

Impact Carter posted his least efficient scoring game of the season, which serves as a testament to what has been a breakout offensive season for the junior. Star forward Bryce Hopkins suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Wednesday's game, so more of the offense should run through Carter moving forward -- although open looks could be harder to come by holistically. Carter's self-creation has been a mixed bag, as only 28.1 percent of his shots at the rim have been assisted, but a whopping 90.9 percent of his threes come off passes from teammates.

Josh Oduro - Backpacks offense in near victory Oduro finished Wednesday's 61-57 loss to Seton Hall with 23 points (9-21 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds and two blocks in 34 minutes.

Impact Oduro posted a team-high 23 points, but his performance was overshadowed by the in-game ACL tear suffered by frontcourt mate Bryce Hopkins. Oduro has been excellent across three in-conference games thus far, averaging 17.3 points and 8.7 rebounds on 51.3 percent shooting from the field. Losing Hopkins subtracts an extremely high-usage player from Providence's rotation, so Oduro's minute share and offensive volume will increase, but it will be interesting to monitor how efficiently the Friars operate with Hopkins' gravitational presence removed from the equation.
