Impact While Thompson didn't start the contest after suffering a facial injury in practice, he ultimately saw more minutes and points than replacement Eric Hunter. Given his workload here, it would seem likely that Thompson will be back in the starting five ahead of Tuesday's matchup against Florida State. The third-year guard had been averaging 6.8 points and 2.0 assists in the five games prior to the injury.

Impact Furst has had somewhat inconsistent production to begin the year, but he made modest contributions in scoring and rebounds during Friday's blowout win. He's served as a starter in each of his first six appearances of his collegiate career and has averaged 9.2 points and 7.7 rebounds in 25.7 minutes per game.
