ImpactMcKnight was stretched off the floor after taking a hit to the head in the second half versus Rice. Fortunately for him, he was released from the hospital relatively quickly although it seems like a stretch that he'd be ready to go for Saturday's game against Middle Tennessee State.

Dayvion McKnight - Suffers scary head injuryMcKnight had to be stretchered off the floor after suffering a head injury in the second half against Rice on Thursday, Jeff Nations of The Daily News reports.
ImpactMcKnight appeared to take a blow to the head and was down for several minutes before eventually being taken off the court. The 6-1 junior has been a major force for the Hilltoppers, averaging 16.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 31.2 minutes per game and would present a major loss if he's out a while.
