Impact Watts announced that he was fully cleared for all basketball activities on Monday before getting his hip banged up at the end of practice. Watts feels better Tuesday, but his status is a little more up in the air than initially thought for Wednesday's game against Detroit.

Impact Watts underwent a hip procedure in June to address an issue that bothered him last season. The Michigan State transfer apparently still has a ways to go in his recovery and may not be ready for the start of the 2021-22 season. Even if he does manage to make it back early in the campaign, Watts seems likely to be limited out of the gates as he catches up on the conditioning aspect.
