D.J. Wagner - New career highWagner recorded 22 points (7-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 96-88 OT victory over Saint Joseph's.
ImpactWagner has held on to his starting role with Kentucky despite the fact the was shooting 31.9 percent from the field entering Monday's game, as well as the fact that Robert Dillingham has been impressive off the bench. The 6-4 freshman changed the narrative a bit in this OT victory, however, as Wagner recorded a career high in both scoring and assists. He'll look to carry that momentum into Friday's matchup against Marshall.
