Andy Katz Tiers: Final Four sleepers galore in NCAA Tournament field
Scoring outburst against SDSUJenkins had 32 points (11-23 FG, 7-14 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and one steal across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 71-62 loss to SDSU.
ImpactJenks scored more than half the team's total points and was the only UNLV player in double figures on the evening. He recently stepped back into the starting five and was able to match his season-high in three-pointers made due to the increased volume. Jenkins and the Rebels likely are not tournament bound, but they'll have a shot for a miracle bid next week in the MWC Tournament.

Leads SDSU to conference titleSchakel had 16 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and one steal across 30 minutes in Wednesday's 71-62 victory over UNLV.
ImpactSchakel limited to just 18 minutes last week against Boise State due to back troubles but appeared to be his regular self in this one. With the victory, the Aztecs were able to clinch the Mountain West regular season title and will carry an 11-game winning streak into the conference tournament. Schakel's outside shooting has been a major reason why, as he leads the MWC in three-pointers made (71) and three-point percentage (46.4 percent).

Starting WednesdaySchakel (back) will start Wednesday's contest against UNLV, Mark Zeigler of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
ImpactDespite popping up on the injury report with a lower-back issue, Schakel will make his usual appearance in the starting lineup Wednesday. It's unclear if he'll see any decrease in minutes due to his condition, but his place in the starting lineup is an encouraging sign he'll see close to a normal role. On the season, the senior is averaging 14.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.0 assists over 28.1 minutes per game.

Questionable to start WednesdaySchakel (back) is warming up ahead of Wednesday's game against UNLV, Mark Zeigler of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
ImpactAccording to Ziegler's report, Schakel is a coin flip to start Wednesday's contest due to a lower-back injury. The senior is warming up, so he's trending in the right direction, but no decision will be made until closer to Wednesday's 9:00 p.m. ET tipoff. Aguek Arop (undisclosed) is also out, so if Schakel also sees less time, Adam Seiko is a top candidate to pick up minutes Wednesday
