Won't play in Legends Classic Pippen and the Vanderbilt Men's Basketball program withdrew from the Legends Classic tournament due to COVID-19 problems within the team, Jeff Goodman of WatchStadium.com reports.

Impact Pippen and the team were scheduled to face UConn in the first round of the tournament this Tuesday but that will no longer be the case. Pippen lead the Commodores with 25 points in their season-opening win over Valparaiso on Friday and will now have to wait over a week until the next scheduled game against SMU on Dec. 8.

Tallies 25 in opener Pippen had 25 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 14-14 FT) to go along with four assists, three rebounds and three steals in Friday's victory over Valparaiso.

Impact Pippen projects to be the top fantasy asset on a Vanderbilt team voted to finish dead last in the SEC preseason polls, but the sophomore point guard carried the Commodores to a 1-0 record Friday. He'll continue to see heavy volume and usage, but the schedule gets a bit tougher with upcoming matchups against Connecticut (Dec. 1) and SMU (Dec. 8).
