Phillip Russell - Drops 35 as Redhawks roll Russell recorded 35 points (9-20 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 14-15 FT), 10 rebounds, five steals and four assists across 39 minutes Monday in Southeast Missouri State's 76-47 victory over SIU Ed... Impact The 35 points were a new career-high total for the 5-foot-10 redshirt freshman, who has gone from an afterthought at Saint Louis in 2020-21 to an every-game starter with the Redhawks following his offseason transfer. Phillips missed a two-game stretch after testing positive for COVID-19 in late January and was 1-for-9 from the field in his first game back, but he's since rebounded with one of the best fantasy stat lines of the season. In addition to the massive scoring haul, Phillips also accumulated the highest rebounding and steals totals of his 30-game collegiate career. There's still some inconsistency to deal with here, however, as Russell has performances of zero, two, three and four points this season to go along with seven outings with 20 points or greater.
