Kobe Clark - Logs 20 minutes off bench Clark (knee) amassed seven points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-5 FT), eight rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes during Monday's 88-67 loss to Grand Canyon.
Impact Clark missed the final 16 games of the 2022-23 season due to a knee injury and was held out of an exhibition in late-October as a precaution. He was back in action to open up the year, though it appears he'll have to work his way back into a starting role.

Gavyn Elkamil - Returns to action Monday Elkamil (shoulder) logged five points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds and a steal across 10 minutes off the bench in Monday's 71-61 scrimmage win over Henderson State.
Impact Elkamil didn't play during the 2022-23 season and only recorded five appearances off the bench in the previous campaign, so seeing him involved -- even if it's in a limited capacity -- here is a step in the right direction. Elkamil should be available for the season opener against Grand Canyon on Nov. 6, but it's unclear whether he'll have a big role or not.

Impact Clark continues to rehab from a knee injury suffered at the beginning of the year, and while it's unknown how far he is in the recovery process, SEMO doesn't want to risk him with the start of the regular season just around the corner. It's unclear whether Clark will be available for the season opener against Grand Canyon on Nov. 6.

Impact Fortunately for Smart, he has no problems with his foot now. However, he fouled out quickly during SE Missouri State's first-four matchup for qualification to the 2023 NCAA Tournament's Round of 64. Smart will have finished his 2022-23 season having averaged 7.4 points, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals across his 32 games (25 started).

Impact After missing the 2023 Ohio Valley Tournament final, Smart rested more than a week, which may be enough for him to be available when SE Missouri State participates in the First Four on Tuesday. The Redhawks will need to make a decision before their game begins at 6:40 p.m. EST.
