Sound shooting in loss Groves provided 14 points (6-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds and five assists over 31 minutes during Saturday's 70-66 loss to Villanova. Impact Groves helped push the Wildcats to the brink, finishing as just one of three Sooners players to score more than six points in this narrow loss. However, the 6-foot-10 senior also committed three turnovers for the fifth time in his eight starts so far this season. Groves also continued to struggle from deep, decreasing his three-point shooting percentage to the lowest mark of his career (28 percent). While he hasn't been great from the charity stripe, converting just 1.5 of his 2.8 free-throw attempts per game, he still ranks second on the team in points per game (11.1) behind guard Grant Sherfield (16.3) and ahead of his brother Jacob Groves (9.3). Oklahoma's next game will come Tuesday against UM-Kansas City.
