Impact There wasn't a specific report of an injury, but it's presumed O'Bannon is still dealing with ankle trouble that forced him to miss a Nov. 6 contest against Oklahoma. He returned the following game against Providence and put up three points in 18 minutes off the bench, so his absence from the starting five Saturday wasn't initially taken as the senior potentially being ruled out. That ended up being the case, however, with Taryn Todd drawing the start in his stead. O'Bannon's next chance to take the court will be Wednesday against Oklahoma State.

Pulls down 15 boards Thursday Samuel put up 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, three blocks, and three steals in Thursday's win over Northwestern State.

Impact It was a pretty complete game for the 6-11 center who was able to contribute in just about every area. His offense continues to come around, but Samuel is looking like a dominant force in the paint on the boards and as a shot blocker. He is averaging 10.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and 1.5 steals in 30.5 minutes per game this season. If Samuel continues to see that many minutes, he will continue to put up big numbers going forward. Samuel has an interesting matchup on Sunday against Brady Manek and Oklahoma.
