Impact Tyson posted his third double-double of the season as the Red Raiders were once resoundingly defeated by a Big 12 opponent. Texas Tech is now 1-9 against its conference opponents, though the 6-foot-7 sophomore has been one of the team's most consistent players during this span. Tyson has averaged 9.6 points and 7.6 rebounds to go along with 1.5 steals and 1.8 assists in conference play. He still isn't producing at the same top-end scoring as fellow forward Kevin Obanor, though Tyson's consistency on the boards still makes him a rather solid game-to-game option in Texas Tech's starting lineup.

However, he was pressed into a bigger role Monday with starting point guard Pop Isaacs (ankle) sitting out. Washington was able to step up by converting all three of his attempts from within the three-point arc. The 6-foot-4 freshman has now logged six games with at least two steals this season, and he's now averaged 0.8 while playing only 15.0 minutes per game. Washington could see a bigger role again if Isaacs remains sidelined Saturday at Baylor.

Impact Obanor contributed 18 points in the second half and overtime to help push Texas Tech to its largest comeback in school history. The 6-foot-8 senior did so by forcing his way to the charity stripe for a season-high 15 free-throw attempts. Obanor struggled by converting 41.2 percent of his 9.7 field-goal attempts per game over the Red Raiders' first seven conference matchups. However, he's now posted at least 20 points in each of the past three outings, and he only totaled 10 free-throw tries in these previous two contests. Obanor is also still averaging 6.2 rebounds per game this season, making him one of the Big 12's better fantasy players.

The starting point guard's absence is a big loss for the Red Raiders, although they were able to win their last game against Louisiana State without Isaacs. He's averaging 11.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists on the season, and will likely be supplanted by De'Vion Harmon in the starting five.

Harmon's additional 2.7 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game makes him a rather reliable fantasy option game to game.
