Terrence Shannon - Cleared to play Shannon announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he has been cleared to play for Texas Tech after resolving his eligibility issues. Impact Shannon missed the Red Raiders' first three games of the season after the program withheld him from playing to ensure he wasn't in violation of NCAA rules after he declared for the 2021 NBA Draft before ultimately withdrawing. With the NCAA apparently giving Shannon the green light to play, he should immediately step into the starting lineup for the Red Raiders' next game Saturday against Incarnate Word. Shannon averaged 12.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 26.7 minutes per contest over 28 appearances (13 starts) as a sophomore in 2020-21.
