Strong offensively in exhibition Mitchell had 16 points (7-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two rebounds across 15 minutes off the bench in Monday's 96-33 exhibition victory over Texas Lutheran. Impact Mitchell came off the bench with Christian Bishop drawing the start at center, though Mitchell was the more effective offensive option, in addition to being capable of stepping outside for three. Bishop was no slouch, however, picking up eight points on 4-of-5 shooting while also collecting four rebounds. Further complicating matters is the eventual return of Dylan Disu (knee), though a timetable hasn't been established there yet. When Texas decides to go big in 2021-22, however, it will have arguably the deepest and most talented frontcourt in the country.
