ImpactMcGinnis returned to action after missing the last four games with and undisclosed injury. The 6-foot-3 sophomore played just two minutes in his return to action during Cincinatti's rout of Tulsa. McGinnis has played in eight games for the Bearcats, contributing 2.3 points and 0.5 rebounds on five minutes per game this season.

John Newman - Suffers knee injuryNewman (knee) left the game and didn't return during Cincinatti's 90-69 win over Tulsa, Justin Williams of The Athletic reports.
ImpactNewman was unable to return to the game for Cincinatti after suffering a knee injury. Newman had previously undergone a knee surgery on the same knee, but the extent of his injury is still unknown at this point. The 6-foot-5 senior has started in all 18 games for the Bearcats this season, averaging 7.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals on 26.4 minutes per game. He will be questionable to play in Tuesday's game against Temple until the extent of his injury has been revealed.
