Almost double-doubles in exhibition Hunter logged 22 points (7-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine assists, four rebounds and one block across 33 minutes when Texas hosted St. Edward's on Monday. Impact Hunter was one assist short of a double-double. It is not expected to be a regular feature of Hunter's game, considering he never logged more than eight assists in any of the 2022-23 Texas Longhorns' games. Perhaps, that could change in his 2023-24 season, and it is expected to be a bright one for Hunter nonetheless. He averaged 10.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists across his 38 games started during Texas' 2022-23 season.
