Miles Byrd - Seven points, four reboundsByrd (toe) logged seven points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one block across his 15 minutes during San Diego State's 72-61 win Saturday against UNLV.
ImpactByrd's statistical output has improved in recent games. Saturday marked the third time he logged more than six points and three rebounds across his last five games. During the five-game span, Byrd averaged 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds, a significant improvement from him.

Reese Waters - Used as substituteWaters (ankle) logged four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists across his 22 minutes during San Diego State's 72-61 win Saturday against UNLV.
ImpactIt marked only the second time San Diego State's team used Waters as a substitute. Like the first time, he did not play relatively well, scoring only four points on two field goals with more than five attempts. Ideally for Waters, he returns to San Diego State's starting lineup, in which the junior has thrived with averages of 14.0 points and 3.9 rebounds.

Jalen Hill - Spotted on crutchesHill was spotted using crutches to get around after leaving Saturday's game and may be done for the day, Mike Grimala of the Las Vegas Sun reports.
ImpactOn a positive note, Hill has returned to the bench, which is better than if he couldn't do that. Despite that, the fact that Hill needs crutches to get around suggests the injury is a new one and unrelated to the wrist issue that cost him some time previously. The extent of his new issue is unclear at this juncture, but Hill registered six points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal prior to his departure.

Jalen Hill - Good to goHill (wrist) will start Saturday's game against San Diego State.
ImpactHill took part in warmups but wasn't initially listed in the starting unit. The updated starting five includes the senior, who is averaging 11.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals over 32.5 minutes in his six appearances this season for the Runnin' Rebels.
