Marco Anthony - Expects to be back Monday Anthony (undisclosed) is expected to return to practice Friday, Josh Newman of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Impact The Utes do not have practice scheduled for Thursday, giving Anthony an extra day to rehab his undisclosed injury that has held him out for the last four days. Anthony's anticipated return to practice on Friday is a good sign for the guard's availability in Monday's season-opener. The senior guard started in 27 games last season, averaging 9.1 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29.3 minutes per game.

Bostyn Holt - Plays in exhibition match Holt (knee) made his first appearance since Nov. 15, 2021 in Wednesday's exhibition game against Westminster, Josh Newman of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Impact Holt tore his ACL last November but has returned to practices with the team and is now playing in Wednesday's exhibition game. The senior forward should be ready to go for the team's season opener on Nov. 7 but is likely to have a reserve role.

Impact Baxter had not appeared in a game for the Utes since last December after suffering a torn ACL. The forward will likely see a growing role in the rotation this season as he keeps working his way back from the major injury.

Impact Baxter is recovering from a torn ACL suffered last December. He appears to be on track to suit up in the season opener against LIU-Brooklyn provided he doesn't suffer any setbacks. Baxter is a transfer from BYU who averaged 6.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game before going down. He should get into the frontcourt rotation this season.

Impact Anthony posted a team-high 18 points as the Utes' season came to an end in the first round Pac-12 Tournament loss. He closes his senior season having led Utah with 7.0 rebounds per game while ranking second in points at 9.1 per game. The Utah State transfer was mostly inefficient, however, connecting on only 41 percent of field goal attempts on the season.
