Keanu Dawes - Posts double-double off benchDawes had 13 points (6-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, one block and one steal across 25 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 78-73 loss to Mississippi State.

ImpactDawes came off the bench to post a career-high rebounding total and match a season-best point total for his first career double-double. Dawes averaged 6.6 points and 4.1 rebounds across 23.6 minutes while starting 23 games last season for Rice and while he's coming off the bench for Utah this season, he's taken a step forward with his production, averaging 10.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks across 22.0 minutes per game thus far.

Lawson Lovering - Out SundayLovering (ankle) is out for Sunday's matchup against Mississippi State, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

ImpactLovering will miss yet another game for the Utes as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. The 7-foot-1 senior, who has yet to play a game this season, averaged 6.2 points and 4.7 rebounds for the Utes in 2023-24 after transferring in from Colorado. Lovering will hope to continue his recovery, with Friday's matchup against Utah Tech representing his next opportunity to return.
