Sean McNeil - Struggles from field McNeil produced 10 points (2-9 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 32 minutes during Saturday's 70-64 victory over TCU.
Impact After a fairly consistent start to the season, McNeil has struggled with his shot over the last couple weeks. In the last five games, the junior is averaging just 7.0 points and shooting 17 percent from behind the arc. That is just not something to expect from one of the best shooters in the conference. McNeil will hope to turn it around in the Big 12 Tournament which begins for WVU on Wednesday against Kansas State.

Taz Sherman - Big game in regular-season finale Sherman chipped in 25 points (9-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and four assists over 35 minutes during Saturday's 70-64 victory over TCU.
Impact Sherman had his highest scoring game since he dropped 29 points against Baylor on Jan. 31. It has been a tough go of it for the Mountaineers in conference play, but maybe they can take this momentum and try to steal a couple games in the Big 12 Tournament. Sherman ends the regular season averaging 18.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.1 three-pointers, and 1.3 steals per contest.

Impact Paulicap's 10 points were a season high for the DePaul transfer. He has started four games this season, but his 20 minutes on Tuesday were his most in a game since Feb. 5. Paulicap will look to try to help West Virginia make a run in the Big 12 Tournament.

Impact The one positive despite West Virginia's slump in Big 12 play down the stretch has been the emergence of the Old Dominion transfer. Over the last three games, Curry is putting up 21.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.7 three-pointers per contest and shooting 51 percent from the field. Curry will look to stay hot on Saturday against TCU.

Taz Sherman - Held to 11 points in loss Sherman closed with 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two steals in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 72-59 loss to Oklahoma.
Impact Sherman's 11 points were his lowest in a game since Jan. 15 when he had just five points against Kansas. He still remains the second-leading scorer in the Big 12 at 18.1 points per game, however. West Virginia will close out the regular season on Saturday against TCU and Sherman will do his best to create some magic in next week's Big 12 Tournament.

Impact Curry has seen a major boost in playing time of late, as starting point guard Kedrian Johnson missed a game last week with a hip injury and only played seven minutes in his return Saturday. In turn, Curry has chipped in performances of 19 and 27 points, making him an under-the-radar option to look for in daily formats. He and the Mountaineers are highly unlikely to be going dancing, but he'll look to end the season on a high note with matchups against Oklahoma (Tuesday) and TCU (Saturday).

Impact After unexpectedly sitting out last Wednesday with a hip injury, Johnson was once considered doubtful for Saturday before upgrading his status to a game-time decision. After participating in shootaround, Johnson was ultimately given the nod to enter the starting lineup, though he saw his lowest minutes total of the entire season. Malik Curry logged an exceptional effort in his stead, recording a season-best 27 points. With West Virginia at the bottom of the table with a 3-13 record in Big 12 play, it wouldn't be shocking to see them ride the hot hand instead of force an early return of a player not at 100 percent.
