That's quite an improvement over a stretch of three straight games in which he went scoreless, but despite the uptick in the offensive numbers, he is borderline unplayable in fantasy due to his lack of consistency and subpar scoring numbers. In fact, this game was the first outing in which he surpassed the five-point plateau.

This was the first time this season that a player has scored 30 points and had 10 assists, an occurrence that happened six times in D1 all of last season. Ellis will be an elite fantasy option once again on Saturday against Florida A&M.
