Amari Williams - Big game in openerWilliams racked up 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-6 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 20 minutes during Monday's 103-62 victory over Wright State.
ImpactA right leg injury surfaced for Williams in the days leading up to Kentucky's season opener, but Williams was able to get through shootaround and didn't appear hampered in the least bit come game time. Coach Mark Pope and the Wildcats appear to have found a hidden gem in the transfer portal, as it doesn't appear that Williams will have trouble recreating his 12.2 ppg and 7.8 rpg averages built a season ago at Drexel.

Koby Brea - Gets hot from deepBrea provided 18 points (7-8 FG, 4-4 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists over 20 minutes during Monday's 103-62 victory over Wright State.
ImpactBrea finished as Kentucky's second-leading scorer despite coming off the bench, and he was clearly feeling himself from distance during a big Kentucky run. He was the top reserve in terms of minutes played as well, but getting most of your production from the three-ball is a recipe for a hit-or-miss play from a fantasy perspective.

Lamont Butler - High volume in openerButler produced 14 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals over 22 minutes during Monday's 103-62 victory over Wright State.
ImpactButler drew the start at point guard over Kerr Kriisa, who had been slowed by a hamstring injury in exhibition play. While Kriisa runs the offense with a faster tempo and is capable of providing a spark, Butler was the far more effective offensive option Monday and attempted more field goals than any other Wildcats player. It appears his fantasy value will hold up even when Kriisa is healthy.

Otega Oweh - Leads Kentucky in scoringOweh posted 21 points (8-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals in 27 minutes during Monday's 103-62 win over Wright State.
ImpactOweh not only drew the start for a deep Kentucky team, but he was able to lead the Wildcats in both scoring and minutes played on an incredibly efficient shooting line. It won't come as easy when the level of competition rises, but considering he averaged 11.4 ppg across 32 games (28 starts) with the Sooners last season, the junior is more than capable of having solid offensive days.

Kerr Kriisa - Quiet in openerKriisa (hamstring) racked up zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, five assists and one steal across 14 minutes during Monday's 103-62 win over Wright State.
ImpactKris did not start Monday's season opener and he came into the game dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered in the preseason. He had a decent debut for the Wildcats as he recorded five assists, but he failed to score on his two shot attempts, both of which were 3-pointers.
