Seemingly won't return this season Nelson (lower leg) is "highly unlikely" to return this season, Davis Potter of the Casper Star-Tribune reports.

Impact Nelson managed to appear in seven non-conference games this year before suffering the lower-leg injury that has largely kept him in a boot since. The sophomore did show promising signs, averaging 3.6 points and 3.6 rebounds across 11.0 mpg as a reserve. He'll now set his sights on competing for a starting role in the 2021-22 season.

Impact Foster was a starter for the Cowboys earlier this season but hasn't laced up since Jan. 24. While the door on a return hasn't been slammed entirely, the focus here seems to be getting the sophomore ready for the 2021-22 campaign.

Impact Foster appeared to have bumped knees with an opposing player on a shot attempt and came down immediately clutching at his knee. He limped back to the locker room while visibly in a lot of pain and later rejoined the team on the bench with a brace on his left knee. The Cowboys next play Thursday against San Diego State although it seems like Foster could be headed for an extended absence.
