Freshman impressing early Williams had 30 points (13-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five assists, three steals and two rebounds across 35 minutes in Wednesday's 83-61 victory over Denver. Impact Williams has jumped in and immediately taken over as the starting point guard for the Cowboys, in addition to being the team scoring leader (19.6 ppg) and shot rate leader. He's chipping in 5.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds as well -- numbers that can make him an elite fantasy asset, especially given his freshman eligibility. Williams didn't come to Laramie as the highest-rated recruit, but he's far exceeding expectations in an underclassmen-heavy rotation.
