Efficient in relief Edey logged 21 points (8-11 FG, 5-7 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block over 18 minutes in Tuesday's 73-69 win over Wisconsin.

Impact Edey came off the bench once again Tuesday, but he was quite efficient from the floor and led the Boilermakers in scoring during the win. The freshman is now averaging 11.7 points and 5.8 rebounds over 16.2 minutes per game across the past six contests.

Plays 21 minutes vs. Penn State Edey recorded seven points (2-5 FG, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and two blocks over 21 minutes in Sunday's 80-72 win over Penn State.

Impact Edey had a hot start to the season, but he's been held in check recently while coming off the bench in each of the last eight matchups. Even though he played a season-high 21 minutes in Sunday's win, the freshman was still unable to generate meaningful results against the Nittany Lions.

Impact Edey started the last two games for the Buckeyes but has recently been outshined by teammate Trevion Williams who has combined for 46 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists over that same span. As a result, Williams will move into the starting lineup for Saturday's contest with Edey retreating to a backup role once again.

Impact Edey saw some work with Purdue's starters during preseason practices, but he came off the bench in Wednesday's season opener. However, he still had ample time on the court and led the Boilermakers on the scoreboard during his first collegiate action. The 7-foot-4 center has dealt with some breathing issues leading up to the season, but he could claim a prominent role as a freshman on a team without much depth in the post.
