Returning for sixth season Kuithe (knee) confirmed Monday via his personal Twitter account that he will return to Utah for his sixth season of eligibility in 2023.

Impact Kuithe entered the 2022 season with the intention of leaving school for the NFL in 2023, but an ACL tear suffered in a Sept. 24 game at Arizona State thwarted those plans. Since his projected nine-month rehab program would prevent him from working out for teams in advance of the draft, Kuithe will instead stay at Utah for another year to boost his stock and enter the pre-draft process at full health in 2024. Kuithe, who recorded 19 catches for 206 yards and three touchdowns in four games before going down with the season-ending injury, should be fully cleared for Week 1 of the 2023 campaign.
