Impact Burmeister exited last week's game with a head injury. After going through concussion protocols, he is on track to play this Saturday. In five games this season he has completed 36-of-72 passes for 263 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.

Leaves game with injury Burmeister went 2-for-8 and threw for 33 yards and one interception while adding 36 rushing yards Friday as San Diego State lost to Boise State 35-13.
Impact Burmeister has been known as an impressive rusher, and ended the game with three more running yards than passing yards. The senior kept the Broncos in the game in the first half, but experienced a hard hit early in the third quarter that kept him out of the remainder of the game.

Inefficient in win Burmeister completed 13-of-24 passes for 65 yards and one interception while rushing for 44 yards Saturday as the Aztecs defeated the Rockets 17-14.
Impact Burmeister has had a difficult start to the season with injuries and low-impact games, but his performance against Toledo was pretty representative of how he's played this season. He has reached 100 yards just once this season, and has struggled to score as of late. Burmeister has a 2:2 touchdown to interception ratio through the first four games, and will need to work to clean up his game before facing Boise State on Friday.

Impact Burmeister was poked in the eye two minutes into the first quarter and was sidelined for the remainder of last week's loss to Utah. However, coach Brady Hoke said the quarterback is just fine and will be good to go for Week 4.
