Impact Rising has announced that he will return to Utah for 2024 after missing the entire 2023 season with a knee injury. The senior quarterback threw for 3034 yards and 26 touchdowns for the Utes in 2022, adding 465 yards and six scores on the ground as well.

The senior quarterback's timeline for a return has been a closely watched topic this season, as he's been able to warm up ahead of games sporadically throughout the first eight weeks of the season. This final clarity on Rising's injury status doesn't come as much of a surprise given the often conflicting reports on his potential availability this season. It's unclear if he'll take return for another potential year of eligibility in 2024.
