Impact Brown has yet to get going this season, totaling 12 carries for 47 yards. He hasn't played the last two games after hyperextending his elbow against Idaho State. Jordan Byrd paced the ground game last week against Toledo last week with 16 carries for 115 yards and two scores, but Bell's expected return will likely cut into his volume and the two may work in a timeshare.

Impact While Hoke doesn't think Bell will be available, he didn't rule him out completely. Regardless, the senior's potential absence would be a huge blow to San Diego State's running attack. If he's sidelined, Cam Davis and Jordan Byrd would be likely candidates for increased roles.
