Impact Bell transferred in from Wisconsin this offseason after he couldn't quite crack the regular rotation in Madison. As more of a shifty slot threat, he was doomed to be behind the talented Will Pauling on the depth chart. Now, however, he's in line to be the Huskies' top receiver in 2024. With Nick Evers, another former Badger, as UConn's starting quarterback, Bell could be in for the biggest season of his career.

Impact On May 1, Evers announced his commitment to UConn, hoping the Huskies would name him their starting quarterback after losing Ta'Quan Robertson. The ex-Wisconsin QB won his battle with Joseph Fagnano, who was under center to begin UConn's 2023 season. Despite the lack of FBS experience Evers has, defined by his one pass attempt, he is finally expected to provide at least some output as a redshirt sophomore.
