Finally makes an impact Week 11 Edwards had 10 rushes for 52 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-15 victory over Penn State.

Impact Edwards was finally called upon to play a significant factor in Michigan's game plan, as the Wolverines logged 46 rushes compared to just eight passing attempts for quarterback J.J. McCarthy. Star running back Blake Corum still led the way with 26 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns, but the team's massive rushing workload necessitated a consistent No. 2 rusher. As a result, Edwards made his first significant impact of the season. In particular, he beat a Penn State blitz on third-and-long by navigating through traffic before rushing 22 yards for a touchdown midway through the second quarter. This marked Edwards' third game with double-digit rushing attempts this season, and he notched a new season high in yards. He's also now rushing for a touchdown in three of the last four games for Michigan.

Impact Edwards scored the Wolverines' final touchdown of the game, running it in from one-yard out with 4.5 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The junior running back continued to take a distinct backseat role to No. 1 running back Blake Corum (15 carries, 44 yards, three touchdowns), as the senior has now scored 16 of the team's 25 rushing touchdowns this season. Edwards has played a slightly larger role in the passing game with 24 catches on 27 targets for 225 yards this season. But, his lack of usage behind Corum significantly hampers his fantasy value.

Impact Edwards didn't see a ton of playing time in this runaway win for the Wolverines. Instead, top running back Blake Corum continued to pace the rushing attack with 15 rushes for 59 yards and a touchdown. Edwards still remained involved in the passing game, but not quite enough to warrant much attention in fantasy.
