ImpactThe redshirt freshman showed what UConn hopes will be a regular occurrence and will be the first of many career bests. Robinson has already surpassed his numbers at Charlotte last season where he appeared in four games for a total of 166 yards on 40 carries. He will have a chance for a repeat on Sept. 28 against Buffalo whose run defense is in the middle of the pack in the country.

ImpactEdwards had 106 yards on 21 carries against Duke on Sept. 21. Against Florida Atlantic running backs Durell Robinson and Mel Brown did the bulk of the damage with 156 rushing yards each. The sophomore will get his chance to be on top of the Huskies' running backs on Sept. 28 against Buffalo. The Bulls run defense is in the middle of the pack in the country against the ground game.

ImpactFagnano will be ready if current starting quarterback Nick Evers cannot play. The senior has seen some form of time under center in the first four games. His lone start came against FCS Merrimack where he threw for 328 yards and five touchdowns on Sept. 7.

Nick Evers - Career best on the groundEvers was 9-for-14 passing for 88 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 48-14 victory versus Florida Atlantic. He also had 18 rushes for 78 yards with two touchdowns.
ImpactThe 78 yards on the ground were a career best and had his best quarterback rating at 140.7. He will look to continue the success on Sept. 28 against Buffalo. Evers could have easier time to run against the Bulls defense that is middle of the pack in the against the ground game. Buffalo's pass defense is top 50 in the country.
