Two scores in finale Mayden completed 17 of 26 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 33-18 win over Fresno State. He also had 14 rushes for 96 yards with a second score.

Impact Mayden ended his senior campaign on a high note, completing 65.4 percent of his passes while leading the Aztecs with 96 rushing yards, the bulk of which came on a 70-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Mayden will finish the campaign with 2,033 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions while adding another 518 yards and five scores on 129 rushing attempts.

Misses practice Tuesday Mayden (personal) was absent from practice Tuesday, Kirk Kenney of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Impact Mayden was reportedly "taking care of personal business" and his absence was not injury related. The senior quarterback is expected to return to practice Wednesday.

Stymied by Nevada Mayden went 6-for-14 passing for 47 yards during Saturday's 6-0 loss against Nevada. He also had 14 rushes for 52 yards.

Impact It was a brutal night for Mayden and the Aztecs' offense as a whole Saturday, as they were shut out in the upset loss. Mayden had been playing well coming into the game, completing 65.7 percent of his passes for 840 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions over his previous four contests. The senior quarterback will look to get back on track on Nov. 4 against Utah State, following San Diego State's bye.
