Impact The BYU signal-caller also ran five times for 11 yards. Hall goes from a top 30 pass defense in Notre Dame to an Arkansas defense that allows more than 307 yards in the air on Saturday, Oct. 15. The Razorbacks' defense though has faced a pair of top 25 passing offenses in Cincinnati and Mississippi State so far this season. Hall should still be in a good place to rebound against Arkansas.

Impact Hall's completion percentage was down slightly from the previous week when the junior completed 81 percent of his passes against Wyoming. But with the three touchdowns, Hall has a dozen touchdown passes so far in 2022. Barring a serious injury, he has a great chance of surpassing the 20 touchdown passes he threw in 2021. Hall faces a middle-of-the-road Notre Dame passing defense on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Las Vegas. The Irish pass defense is around a similar FBS ranking as Baylor. Hall completed 23-of-39 attempts for 261 yards and one touchdown against the Bears on Sept. 10 in the 26-20 win over Baylor.

Impact Hall is now averaging 291 passing yards per game with nine total touchdown passes. Dating to last season, the junior has thrown eight straight games of at least 250 passing yards. Hall's fourth touchdown pass of the night, a 68-yard strike to Keanu Hill was the longest touchdown pass of Hall's career. The junior might have a tougher time throwing the ball on Thursday against Utah State who is a top 50 defense against the pass. The Aggies' numbers though might be deceptive since their schedule has been relatively easy except for powerhouse Alabama.

Impact The Cougars were down from the start and were playing catchup the entire game including being down 38-7 in the third quarter. Hall also ran eight times for 19 yards. It did not help Hall that two of their top wide receivers, Puka Nacua and Gunner Romney, both missed another game with an injury. Hall might be in store for another big game on Saturday, Sept. 24 at home against Wyoming. The Cowboys have given up 227 passing yards per game and are 77th in the FBS in that category. Wyoming's defense has been a little stingier so far this season.
