Set to compete for starting job Hall (hip) is among the candidates to serve as BYU's starting quarterback to begin the regular season, Brandon Judd of the Deseret News reports. Impact Hall missed time due to a hip injury in 2020, and he didn't take any snaps while serving as a backup. However, he's apparently fully healthy to begin camp as he prepares to compete with Baylor Romney and Jacob Conover for a starting role. Hall completed 31 of his 46 passes for 420 yards and a touchdown while rushing 29 times for 139 yards and three touchdowns in 2019.
