Back to backup role for Saturday Sims will resume his role as a backup against Oklahoma State with Sam Leavitt healthy enough to play, Chris Karpman of 247Sports reports.

Impact Sims was nothing special as Arizona State's replacement quarterback against Cincinnati. He threw for 155 yards on 12-of-23 passing while collecting 53 yards rushing. He protected the football, but couldn't lead the Sun Devils to a win. Now that Leavitt is healthy again, Sims will ride the bench for the foreseeable future.
