Only RB with touchdown Byrd rushed for 22 yards and had a 15-yard reception for one touchdown Saturday as the Aztecs defeated the Rainbow Warriors 16-14.

Impact Byrd was the only running back to come away with a touchdown against Hawaii, but it was not a rushing touchdown. He scored on a 15-yard pass from Jalen Mayden, making it his first receiving touchdown of the season.

Impact Byrd has been the best running back on the Aztecs' offense through the first five games of the season, and he once again led his team in rushing yards as he totaled 61. He is one of only two running backs on the team to score a touchdown in 2022, so he will have to keep up the good work in order to keep his team competitive in games.

Impact Byrd notched his second and third touchdowns of the season against Toledo, and this included a 1-yard touchdown to secure the win for the Aztecs. His 115-yard performance was far better than any other game of his in 2022, and he will look to continue this style of play Friday as he faces Boise State.
