Blau also adds that Pace underwent a procedure to help accelerate his recovery. Pace recorded 20 carries for 59 yards and two touchdowns, which both came during blowout wins over Furman and Louisiana Tech. With the junior sidelined, sophomore Phil Mafah will work as Clemson's No. 2 back behind Will Shipley.
