Leading receiver in loss Washington caught eight of his 11 targets for 81 yards during Saturday's 17-14 loss to Miami of Ohio. Impact Washington attracted double-digit targets for the third time through the first four games of the season. While the senior wideout still sits as Northwestern's second-leading receiver behind Evan Hull (29 receptions, 36 targets, 311 yards), he's still managed to secure a significant target share in the Wildcats' balanced offensive attack (185 total passes versus 156 combined rushes) this season. Washington's rapport with quarterback Ryan Hilinski (114-of-183 passing, 1,194 yards, 5:3 TD:INT ratio) will net him plenty of looks moving forward, as Northwestern figures to play from behind during much of Big Ten play.
